Feed Your Ears - New Music: Heres the thing, I usually hate mixtapes. I can’t stand them, I hate the DJ’s that yell over the music between tracks and I don’t like the unfinished sound of the songs and so I will usually wait until an artist comes out with an album and skip the musical Hors D’Oeuvres.However, I couldn’t stop myself and had to press play when I saw that Marsha Ambrosius had a new mixtape appropriately titled Hors D’Oeuvres..a prelude to her new album Friends & Lovers. After I pressed play I heard the album repeat 3-4 times and didn’t press pause. Somehow I was able to tune out the DJ and focus on the music that sounded more like a main entree.
